The sealer penetrates deep into pores and leaves a dry touch with a very light oil film after drying. This helps to displace moisture and limit rust.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Original product: <a href=\"https:\/\/caswellplating.com\/penetrating-sealer-1-pint.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Caswell Penetrating Sealer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Properties<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Suitable after black oxide processes such as <a href=\"\/caswell-black-oxide\/\">Caswell Black Oxide<\/a> and <a href=\"\/caswell-mega-black\/\">Caswell Mega Black<\/a>, and over patina on steel and copper alloys, among others.<\/li>\n<li>Deeply penetrating, water-expelling film that leaves the surface dry-to-the-touch with a very light oil film.<\/li>\n<li>Can be applied to wet or dry parts. After chemical blackening, it is preferable to seal directly from the rinsing bath without drying. <\/li>\n<li>Not intended as passivation. For durable protection after black oxide, sealing is recommended. <\/li>\n<li>Widely used in automotive restoration, fasteners, tools and decorative metal parts.<\/li>\n<li>Combustible product.
