The sealer forms a thin, hard and structureless film with very low VOC content. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Original product: <a href=\"https:\/\/caswellplating.com\/caswell-sealer-1-quart.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Caswell Sealer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Properties<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Suitable over conversion coatings such as black oxide and patina, and on bare metal.<\/li>\n<li>Can be applied to wet or dry parts, allow excess water to drip off first.<\/li>\n<li>Application via dipping, spraying or brush for an even, thin film.<\/li>\n<li>Dilution to 1 to 1 with water is possible for an extra thin, structureless layer, but this does reduce corrosion and wear resistance.<\/li>\n<li>Coverage approximately 70 m\u00b2 per litre.<\/li>\n<li>Film thickness when immersed is approximately 0.002\u20130.003 mm per layer.<\/li>\n<li>Dust-dry in about 10 minutes, drying can be accelerated with warm air.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Protecting chemically blackened metal<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After chemical blackening, sealing is recommended to maintain color and corrosion resistance. Dip the part in the sealer and let the excess liquid drain away, or apply with a brush or syringe. Then let it air dry. Avoid drying too quickly to avoid defects such as cracking.   <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Electroforming and porous materials<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Caswell Sealer can be used undiluted to temporarily waterproof and dimensionally stable porous or soft materials in preparation for <a href=\"https:\/\/verzinkshop.nl\/en\/electroforming-manual\/\">electroforming<\/a>.
