Yellow Zinc Passive Agent without Hexavalent Chromium (Chromium 6). This safe product can be used to apply a decorative, light yellow, finish to zinc.

The liquid is simple to use and is delivered ready-to-use. To be used after galvanizing with a Galvanizing kit.

Please note that this gives a much lighter finish than the traditional yellow passivation with chrome 6!

Works best on neatly galvanized material.

How does trivalent yellow passivation work?

This product is a blue passivating agent with a yellow dye added to it. It provides excellent protection against oxidation on zinc. The yellow finish is a lot less yellow than yellow passivation with chrome 6.
In addition to providing effective corrosion protection, it provides a durable finish.

This product does not contain dangerous chromium 6, making it safe to use, but still offers good anti-oxide properties. The best optical results are achieved by applying a layer of blue passivation first, followed by the yellow passivation.

The time required for passivation can vary depending on the desired result, the temperature of the liquid, and the quality of the zinc. After the desired finish is achieved, rinse the metal object and let it dry thoroughly.
