Pure water without dissolved salts and minerals. Ideal for metal surface treatments such as electroforming, electroplating, chemical blackening and patina processes, where limescale and contaminants can cause failure.

Why use distilled water

Due to the absence of limescale and almost all dissolved salts, distilled water reduces the risk of precipitation, staining and process failures. Tap water varies in hardness and pH and can negatively affect results. Therefore, consistently use distilled or demineralized water.

Important safety rule when mixing with acids or chemicals: always add the acid to the water and never the other way around.
