Features of the Mega Black Kit
- Complete package for steel and iron at room temperature, very dark final color.
- Suitable for hobbyists and small professionals, no special equipment required.
- Works on cold and hot rolled steel/iron, structural steel, alloy and tool steel, cast iron and forged steel. Not suitable for stainless steel.
- Sealer choice: Caswell Penetrating Sealer (oil) or Caswell Sealer (acrylic, water-based).

- Starting mixing ratio: approx. 1:9 (10 percent concentrate in water).
- Process duration: usually 2–3 minutes to the desired black depth, maximum 5 minutes.

Using the Mega Black Kit
- Mix the concentrate with water according to the instructions.
- Degrease and clean thoroughly. Avoid aggressive solvents on the workpiece; Use a suitable degreaser.
- Dip for 2–3 minutes or work with brush/sponge until desired color is achieved.
- Rinse in a designated container, not under the tap.
- Immediately apply the chosen sealer while the surface is still wet and let it dry.
