Caswell Black Krome electrolyte for black chrome ready to use for a very beautiful and unique chrome finish.

Caswell Black Krome – Black Chrome Electrolyte

With Caswell Black Krome® you can easily apply a deep black chrome look to parts such as car emblems, hinges, rims, musical instruments and fishing tackle. The electrolyte is ready-to-use, requires few steps and quickly creates a characteristic black finish that stands out from standard chrome. Ideal for restoration, custom builds and decorative applications.

Black Krome® does not contain chromium or nickel in the electrolyte and is therefore pleasant to use in the workshop. Over nickel, the hue becomes smoky metallic, while over copper, it becomes deeper black. For added protection, the layer can be finished with wax, oil, or a clear coating.

The electrolyte is available in:

  • 1 liter
  • 2 liters
  • 5 litres
