This Caswell Reprochrome chrome kit contains everything needed to immediately start chrome plating various metals. All you need is a power supply.

Caswell Reprochrome applies a layer of “chrome” that resembles real chrome in color, durability, and corrosion resistance.

Chrome plating yourself with the Caswell Reprochrome® kit is easy and applies chrome to copper, brass, nickel and most ferrous and non-ferrous metals without the need for an extraction system or a powerful power supply.

This chrome look is a unique Cobalt-Tungsten alloy from Caswell Plating USA that does not contain chromium, nickel or other toxic materials.

Properties Caswell Reprochrome

• Caswell Reprochrome® Electrolyte uses Reprochrome brightener system. It should be added when the electrolyte is used for the first time and then periodically or as soon as objects come out of the bath dull
• Can be applied to: copper, brass, nickel and most ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• anode: stainless steel
• consumption: 0.05 ampere per 10 cm² at ± 5 V
• Reprochrome comes from the solution and not from the anode. The solution must therefore be periodically supplemented or replaced
• Reprochrome covers cutouts and low areas where normal chrome struggles

Chrome plating yourself with Caswell Reprochrome

Chrome plating with this Reprochrome® kit from Caswell plating USA is very fast and it delivers a very nice layer of chrome over a base layer of nickel or copper within minutes.

To galvanize over existing chrome, the existing chrome layer must be removed by stripping it with the Anodizing & Chrome stripper.

For maximum shine, use the 3-layer system. This consists of copper, then a layer of nickel and then Reprochrome®. By polishing between coats, you get a very bright finish that is identical to show chrome. Ideal for restoring classic cars!
