Lacquered Copper Wire 1.5 mm
Lacquered copper wire 1.5 mm is soft, flexible handmade copper wire with a transparent lacquer layer that prevents oxidation and staining. This is not enameled copper wire. Ideal for wire-wrapping, jewelry and decorative work.
Loose copper wire is sent as a letterbox package, so you don’t have to stay at home. For larger quantities or thicker sizes, shipping as a package may be required.

Properties of lacquered copper wire
- Lacquered copper finish protects against oxidation and discoloration – no enameled copper wire
- Easy to shape and solder neatly (remove paint locally before soldering)
- 99.5% pure CU copper
- Thickness 1.5 mm
- Lengths 2, 5, 10 and 20 meters
Not suitable for electroplating or electroforming through the lacquer layer.

Tips
- Use pliers with nylon jaws to avoid scratching the paint
- Before soldering, scrape off the lacquer layer locally or sand it lightly
