Zinc electrolyte for a very clear zinc coating

Zinc brightener V-Brite Z

V-Brite Z is the maintenance brightener for Verzinkshop V-Brite Z zinc electrolyte. Without the brightener, you get a Cadmium look finish with the electrolyte. When you add the V-Brite Z glazing agent, it converts the dull zinc coating into a bright, even, commercial-grade finish.

Includes dosing syringe for precise dosing.

To be used when creating a new bath and then periodically when the shine decreases. Suitable for small and medium-sized baths.

What does a zinc brightener do?

The brightener controls the push-off so that you get a tight and shiny zinc result with good coverage, even in zones with lower current density.

Use and dosage

  • Add new bath 1 ml per liter of electrolyte
  • Maintenance Add small amounts as soon as the shine wears off
  • Practical guide: approximately 1 ml per 10 ampere-hour process consumption
  • Mix briefly after each addition and check the result on a test piece

Properties

  • Bright glossy zinc finish with neat coverage in high and low current density
  • Operates in a wide temperature range 21–49 °C optimally 27 °C
  • pH range 5.2–5.7 optimal 5.3
  • Agitation with air or pump supports an even push-off
  • Easy to rinse out and suitable for continuous filtration

Compatible with

  • Verzinkshop V-Brite Z zinc electrolyte
