Verzinkshop Uni Metal Oil Sealer

Verzinkshop Uni Metal Oil Sealer is a water expelling and rust-resistant solvent-based metal sealer for durable protection of bare metal and conversion coatings such as black oxide and patina. The sealer penetrates deep into pores, can be applied to wet or dry parts and leaves a slightly greasy film that feels almost dust-dry after polishing. Uni deepens the color and is easy to touch up locally.

Key Features of The Metal Sealer

• Coverage: approx. 40–50 m² per liter
• Film thickness when dipped: approx. 0.004–0.006 mm
• Application: use undiluted
• Salt spray test: guide value approx. 70 hours, depending on the substrate and method
• Cleaning and removal: strong solvents such as acetone or turpentine-containing cleaners, powerful degreasers and alkaline soap weaken the film, reseal after intensive cleaning

Use of Galvanizing Uni Metal Sealer

1. Clean and degrease the surface, parts may be wet, let excess water drip off first
2. Apply Uni by dipping or with brush, cloth or sponge, moving lightly for even coverage
3. Leave on for 2–5 minutes and allow excess sealer to drip off for an even thin film
4. Allow to dry and polish with a clean cloth if desired until the desired shine and feel
