Verzinkshop V-Brite 200 copper electrolyte ready for use for electroforming or self-coppering of brass, copper or nickel.
Verzinkshop V-Brite 200 copper electrolyte delivers a very shiny, thin copper layer that retains fine details. The outlet has a low internal tension and is therefore flexible. Suitable for copper-plating metal surfaces such as copper, brass and nickel.
In addition, V-Brite 200 is very suitable for electroforming and copper-plating of non-conductive objects. Think of 3D printing or other plastics or copper-plating a twig, leaf, shell or other organic materials yourself. First make the object conductive with conductive paint, let it dry and then place it in the electroforming bath.
V-Brite 200 copper electrolyte comes with brightener: V-Brite X brightener. The brightener has already been added to the electrolyte and the electrolyte is ready for use. brightener only needs to be added again once it has worn off.
The electrolyte is available in:

V-Brite 100 can apply a thicker layer of copper in a short time, depending on the process duration, with high filling power that evens out the surface. Suitable for filling small irregularities.
V-Brite 200 applies a thin, shiny layer of copper that is very suitable for preserving fine details. The finish of V-Brite 100 and 200 is otherwise similar in terms of gloss and appearance.
Both have the same end result in terms of shine and appearance.
This copper electrolyte works with the Electrolyte V-Brite 200 brightener system that provides a very shiny finish for fine details. This 2-part brightener system is already added to the electrolyte and consists of:
Electrolyte V-brite 200S starter brightener
Electrolyte V-Brite X maintenance brightener
The V-Brite X copper brightener is consumed during the process and must be re-added periodically or as soon as objects come out of the bath dull. This is supplied with the electrolyte.
Selling objects and parts yourself with this electrolyte is easy.
Making non-conductive objects conductive first is easy: apply a thin layer of conductive paint, let it dry and then place it in the copper bath. For example, you can copper plastic, 3D print copper and even copper a twig or leaf. This method fits perfectly with electroforming with a copper electrolyte and also works for organic material such as leaves, flowers, wood or shells.
V-Brite 200 is an acidic copper electrolyte for applying a very shiny thin copper layer that retains fine details. A power supply deposits copper from the electrolyte on the workpiece for a clean, even finish. A power supply is required for this process.
